Bandit is a sweet two-year-old Shepherd mix, who is more on the timid side, and is looking for love. He has been raised in a Harry Potter loving household, and all of his commands are based on spells in Harry Potter.  He sits, stays, and comes.  He gets along with other dogs, and while he is a little bit shy, once he gets to know you he is an absolute love bug! 

Piper is a lovely 4 year old female mixed breed who loves people and some dogs. She has advanced cataracts but it does not impair her ability to get around. She likes to go on walks. She will be a wonderful companion for someone.

Sadie is a sweet and confident mid sized mixed breed who loves people and the dogs whom she considers her friends. She is around 8-10 years old. She is particular about her dog posse friends so a home with existing dogs would have to do an introduction to see how they’d all get along.

Wyatt is an sweet and smart 6 years old Retriever/Lab/Kelpie mix. He has that classic Lab sweetness combined with the smart, attentive and energetic nature of a Kelpie. Wyatt gets along with everyone, he ’s the perfect family companion. He ’s a gem of a dog and a favorite at the Lander Pet Connection.

Nico is a 1.5-year-old black Lab mix and a total shelter favorite! He is already house-trained, crate-trained, knows his basic commands, (sit, down, stay, heel) and loves everyone—including kids, dogs, and cats. Whether he is hiking, swimming, or curling up as a snuggly couch potato, Nico just wants to be near his people. This smart, athletic boy can climb standard fences when left alone outdoors, so he will do best with supervised yard time or a secure, climb-proof setup. 

Cody appears to be a young Blue Healer mix. He loves people and is smart as a whip. He gets along with female and male dogs and people. He needs training on a leash but with patience he’ll get there as he’s one of the smarter dogs we’ve come across. His only downfall is that he marks a lot but we are hoping that this will decrease after he is neutered.

Honey is a small Lab mix and her name is perfect for her. She is a love of a dog with adults but not with children, female dogs or chickens.

This young mixed breed dog brings love and snuggles to the shelter. She absolutely adores people, and will light up your whole day with her dancing paws and big grin. We do not think she's been in a house before, but she is very smart and would pick up on house manners very quickly, and she is already learning to be house trained!! 

Meet Buddy!  He’s looking for a buddy!  He’s a 10 month old Border Collie/Great Pyrenees mix.  He is going to be a big boy weighing in at around 65 lbs already.  Buddy is very friendly and good with cats and other dogs.  He will need some leash training.
