Adoption Procedure
Lander Pet Connection
If you're thinking about adopting a pet, this is your first stop. Click on the
"Adopt Me" link to discover what dogs and cats are available for adoption.
Pets are adopted and new ones arrive daily so call Ericka at 349-0023 for the
latest info.

You'll notice that most of the pets are being boarded by the Pet Connection at
the Wind River Veterinary Clinic. The clinic is easy to find. Just turn off Main
Street at the Toyota Dealership. That's Tweed Lane and the Clinic is just a
block or two away. You can stop by any weekday from 3:30 to 5:00 or call the
clinic for an appointment (332-5512). It's always a good idea to call first
because some pets may already be adopted and new ones may have arrived.

A few pets are in foster care. If that's the case, call Ericka (349-0023) or the
volunteer listed with the pet. Just give them a call to find a convenient time
and place to meet the pet.

The Pet Connection's Adoption Application is now online.
it. If you're considering adopting a pet, it's a great idea to take a look at the
application and complete it at your convenience. You can even be
pre-approved as a new pet owner so when you find just the right dog or cat
for your family, you needn't wait.

Email the application to a member of the Pet Connection Board

  info@feistyfidodogtraining.com         or
  akoffice@wyoming.com                       or

Leave the application with Wind River Veterinary Clinic. They'll see that it gets
to a board member. You should hear from us within a few days.

You'll notice that the application is long but please don't get discouraged. We
just want to know as much about you as possible to be sure you and your
new pet are a good match for one another.

The adoption fee is $50.00 for a dog and $30.00 for a cat. This includes
whatever shots are needed and a spay or neuter. Because a part of our
mission is reducing the number of unwanted and abandoned pets, we always
require this procedure.

For more information call the Pet Connection at 330-5200.
