THE LANDER PET CONNECTION

The Lander Pet Connection was founded in 1996 by Sydney Miller to rescue abandoned and homeless companion animals in the Lander area and provide those animals with new, loving adoptive homes. For more information about our organization and our daily operations, please visit our Who We Are page.

The Lander Pet Connection is excited to announce our newest venture: the LPC Kennel Club!

The Kennel Club will be LPC’s membership group for pet owners, animal lovers, LPC supporters and adopters, and anyone who is interested in learning more about responsible pet ownership.  Members will receive a free subscription to a periodic e-newsletter containing useful information about articles on pet ownership, (i.e. chewing, shedding, playing, fetching, etc. etc.); coupons to use for our retail items (chew toys, leashes, collars, healthy snacks); stories highlighting recent adoptions and “where they are now;” pre-release access to tickets for events like the Taste of Lander; and much more!  Members who sign up within the next thirty days will also receive a free LPC Kennel Club logo car magnet to let everyone know you are a LPC supporter and animal lover!

To sign up, please email us at publicrelations@landerpets.org and give us your preferred email address and your mailing address if you wish to receive a printed version of the newsletter (we are hoping to mainly email it out to keep costs low) or if you are unable to come pick your magnet up at our facility.

We think our newsletter will be a great forum for people to get questions answered and to keep up to date in what LPC is doing.  We look forward to hearing from you and seeing your car magnets around town!

The Lander Pet Connection Board of Directors

The Lander Pet Connection was thrilled to be one of four local not-for-profits that benefited from a grant provided by the Lander Community Foundation. Here, board members Devon Petersen, Deborah Ellis and Alexandra Schriever recieve the check from Andy Gramlich. For more information on the Lander Community Foundation and ways you can help this organization support so many of the Lander area’s not-for profits, please visit their website at http://www.landercommunityfoundation.org

Many Thanks to the Wyoming Community Foundation. They surprised us by awarding us a $10,000 grant! This award was made possible through the Flying V Donor Advised Fund held by the Wyoming Community Foundation. Because of this money, we were able to complete construction of the Syd Miller Animal Rescue and Adoption Center beyond the amount loaned to us. For more information on the Wyoming Community Foundation, please visit their website at : http://www.wycf.org/

Thanks to the Pedigree Foundation for a generous grant they awarded us to help with the boarding, feeding and care of our animals. For more information on their foundation and to see the entire list of organizations awarded grants, please visit this link: http://www.pedigreefoundation.org
