The Lander Pet Connection was founded in 1996 by Sydney Miller to rescue abandoned and homeless companion animals in the Lander area and provide those animals with new, loving adoptive homes. For more information about our organization and our daily operations, please visit our Who We Are page.

Every year they surpass the prior one. . . this year Wild Iris handed the Pet Connection a check for $1,800 from the fundraisers they held during Ladies' Night and Guys' Night to benefit us. We cannot begin to thank them enough for their support throughout the year and all the effort they put into these events! We also want to thank Scott Copeland who donated two gorgeous images to the raffles, and everyone who came out and bought raffle tickets and played games to raise money for us!

Thank you to the Lander Community Foundation for awarding us a grant for the third consecutive year! These grants were funded from donations by our community, including Fremont Therapy Group, who was a Platinum donor during this year's Challenge for Charities (pictured are owners Brent and Scott in the blue shirts).

The Lander Community Foundation is an invaluable resource for LPC; each year the Challenge for Charities fundraising initiative raises a substantial percentage of our annual operating budget for us! This grant definitely is the cherry on top! (Pictured on the far right are LPC board members Deborah Ellis and Amy Romero, joined by the other not-for-profit representatives receiving grants).

Thanks to the foundation and their board of directors who put forth so much effort for our community's not-for-profits.
