The Lander Pet Connection was founded in 1996 by Sydney Miller to rescue abandoned and homeless companion animals in the Lander area and provide those animals with new, loving adoptive homes. For more information about our organization and our daily operations, please visit our Who We Are page.

We write this every year, but it’s true . . .every year they surpass the prior one. . . this year Wild Iris handed the Pet Connection a check for $2,000 from the combined Ladies/Guys Night fundraisers they held in 2014 to benefit us. We cannot begin to thank them enough for their support throughout the year and all the effort they put into these events!

Thank you to the Lander Community Foundation for awarding us a grant for the fourth consecutive year! These grants were funded from donations by our community.

The Lander Community Foundation is an invaluable resource for LPC; each year the Challenge for Charities fundraising initiative raises a substantial percentage of our annual operating budget for us! This grant definitely is the cherry on top!

Thanks to the foundation and their board of directors who put forth so much effort for our community's not-for-profits. For more information on the Lander Community Foundation and ways you can help this organization support so many of the Lander area’s not-for profits, please visit their website at
